The mixing conditions used were:
prewarm temperature (40 [degrees] C), typical batch size (1 kg), total mixing time (7 min) and stock temperature (75-80 [degrees] C).
Mention was made above that an extruder could serve to
prewarm compound from a calender.
The second station, maintained at a setpoint of 54 [degrees]C, is used to
