Although we were slowly coming to realize that soil
erasion was a major national problem.
Surgical treatment was sometimes indicated in bone and joint disease and involved arthrectomy (opening the joint),
erasion (the clean scraping of the joint of tubercular matter in an effort to save function), trephining (removal of a section of bone), and drainage of the joint by aspiration or, if an open lesion, by gravity; extensive disease required amputation of the limb.
The most serious one is
erasion or, as most people know it, being struck off.
Further tax evasion is rampant and the National Taxation Commission has suggested a number of measures which would help to eliminate tax
erasion. These recommendations should not be swept under the carpet.
