On a final note (in many ways), this is the last issue of Practical Literacy: the early and primary years that we, Louise Phillips and Linda Willis, will coedit. We confidently hand over the editorship of Practical Literacy to Dr Linda Mahony and Dr Bea Staley (both based at Charles Darwin University), and whose support we also wish to acknowledge in the compilation of this edition, along with Robyn English (reviews editor) and Judy Morris (proof reader) who will continue on in the team.

As one more example, Sherry serves on the advisory board of the Bedford Anthology of American Literature, which I coedit with Linck Johnson.
